Welcome to Day 2 of track and field at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
With just two events on the docket Thursday with the men’s and women’s 20-kilometer race walks, the track and field program of the Summer Games picks up steam on Friday with a full slate of 19 events taking place throughout the day inside the Stade de France.

Friday will be the first time the world will get to watch Sha’Carri Richardson compete at the Olympic level in the women’s 100-meter dash. Other events to take place Friday in Paris include several portions of the men’s decathlon, the 100-meter, shot put and more.

2024 Paris Olympics:Meet the athletes on Team USA’s Olympic squad
E! and NBC will broadcast Friday’s track and field schedule at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with the latter broadcasting a portion of afternoon competition during its split coverage with swimming, starting at 1 p.m. ET. Additionally, NBC will air the women’s 100-meter Round 1 event as part of its Primetime in Paris coverage on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
Viewers can stream the action via the NBC app, on the NBC Olympics app and on NBCOlympics.com by logging in with your TV provider credentials. Other options include Peacock or on Fubo, which carries E! and offers a free trial to select users.
